At around 11:30 a.m., the cruise departs for the nearby “ghost town” of Kolmanskop (approx. 15 minutes). Here, you’ll receive a detailed guided tour of the most important parts of the town and learn all about the former German settlement and its diamond past. Afterwards, you’ll have approximately one hour to explore the old buildings on your own.
Afterwards, you’ll continue to a guesthouse, where a light lunch will be prepared for you. After this short break, the cruise continues towards the beach, where you can visit the Diaz Cross and have the opportunity to feel the Atlantic Ocean barefoot.
