Tala Game Reserve is a small reserve, but it boasts magnificent scenery and wildlife, including rhinos, hippos, buffalo, antelopes, zebras, impalas, kudus, giraffes, and 20 different bird species. After a drive of approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes, you’ll reach the reserve and enjoy a roughly 2-hour safari. Following a short lunch break, you’ll return to Durban. The journey is in a minibus (not a safari vehicle), and the reserve is located near a residential area (so it’s not comparable to reserves in Port Elizabeth).
