Winery Tour with Wine Tasting

Spend a day with a qualified guide in the famous wine regions of Stellenbosch and Franschhoek, visiting various wineries, enjoying wine tastings, and exploring the sights along the way.
Cape Town is world-renowned for its impressive wineries. With approximately 550 estates in the wider Cape region, each winery offers something special, be it the variety of wines, the picturesque surroundings, or the unique ambiance. From red and white wines to port, sherry, dessert wines, and sparkling wine, the beauty of the wine region is majestic, with many different mountain ranges providing a backdrop for your culinary delights.
The day begins around 9:00 AM with pickup at the port. You’ll traverse the lush wine-growing region of the Cape Winelands, a region known for its picturesque vineyards, historic wineries, and charming little villages. Passing rolling hills and through wide valleys covered in endless rows of vines, the journey offers repeated panoramic views of the surrounding mountain ranges.
The journey takes you into the heart of the wine region and will not only delight you with its scenery but also whet your anticipation of the upcoming wine tastings and your day in the Winelands.
At least two wineries will be visited. A wine tasting is included in the price. You’ll have ample time at the wineries to explore them and the surrounding area, as well as enjoy lunch. Winery visits depend on the number of participants and availability.

After this unforgettable day in the heart of the wine region, your guide will return you to the port, where you’ll arrive back at the ship around 5:00 PM (approximately 1-hour drive; excursion times are subject to change depending on the day and docking times).
Additional wine tastings, meals, and activities at the estates are not included in the tour price (one wine tasting is included).

Winery with wine tasting, Chapman’s Peak Drive, Signal Hill & visit to the penguins (Boulders Beach)
This excursion has been booked by guests, and they are happy to welcome other interested travelers. The tour is conducted by an English-speaking driver-guide. Maximum participants: 8 people.

The itinerary includes a visit to a winery with a wine tasting (the exact winery will depend on the number of participants), a trip to Simon’s Town to visit Boulders Beach and the penguins, and on the way to or from Simon’s Town, you’ll enjoy the breathtaking panoramic views from Chapman’s Peak Drive. A visit to Signal Hill offers spectacular views over Cape Town.

The focus is on the aforementioned sights; depending on available time, additional elements may be included.

The excursion concludes at 5:00 PM at the V&A Waterfront, as the guests have also booked the sunset catamaran cruise (boarding at 6:00 PM, allowing some time to experience the vibrant Waterfront). Those who prefer can, of course, be dropped off at the terminal.
The prices listed include the private vehicle, the specified guide, a wine tasting, and the toll fees (Chapmans Peak Drive).
