Boat Trip to the Seals & Namib Desert by Jeep

Your day begins with pick-up at the pier around 10:30 a.m. or as soon as possible after immigration. Depending on your berth, there will be a short drive to the jetty, where you will transfer to the boats (restrooms are available on board). The trip starts in the port of Walvis Bay, where you will have the opportunity to discover the vibrant wildlife. With a little luck, curious dolphins will accompany you. The seabirds, including pelicans and cormorants, are often brave companions and fly impressively close. The seals, in particular, provide unforgettable moments, as they are often so trusting that they come right aboard and greet you at close range.

Enjoy fresh oysters and a glass of sparkling wine, along with other snacks and drinks.

After docking, the second part of your adventure begins: You will be driven by four-wheel drive jeeps into the impressive dunes of the Namib Desert. The off-road adventure takes you through a unique landscape of golden sand dunes to Sandwich Harbour, a hidden oasis in the middle of the desert. Here, where the ocean and the desert meet, you can expect mesmerizing views, absolute tranquility, the chance to spot flamingos, and an unforgettable natural backdrop.
