Your transfer will meet you at the port of Richards Bay and take you to St. Lucia (approx. 1.5 hours). Upon arrival in St. Lucia (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), you’ll have the opportunity to discover typical handmade souvenirs at the local market, explore the town of St. Lucia, or simply relax with a drink at a restaurant. Afterward, you’ll board the Hippo and Croc Barge for a two-hour cruise to discover herds of hippos and crocodiles and learn more about these magnificent animals. The St. Lucia Estuary is home to more than 800 hippos and 1,200 crocodiles. Afterward, the transfer will take you back to the ship.
