Hluhluwe-Imfolozi Big 5 Safari – Full Day

The incredible Hluhluwe-Imfolozi National Park is home to the Big 5, as well as cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, wild dogs, hyenas, and a variety of antelopes. Experience a safari in open safari jeeps with one of our experienced guides and discover the beauty of these magnificent wildlife in their natural habitat. The safari is available as either a half-day or a full-day experience.

After your ship arrives and your ship is cleared, your transfer will be waiting for you at the port in Richards Bay and will take you to the reserve (approximately 1.5 hours).

Once you arrive at the reserve, you will transfer to open safari vehicles and begin your exploration. The half-day safari lasts approximately 3-4 hours and includes a lunch break with a light snack and a refreshment break. The full-day safari takes you deeper into the park and includes approximately 6-7 hours of safari, plus a lunch and refreshment break. After this amazing experience, the transfer will take you back to the ship in Richards Bay.

8:00 – 9:30 Transfer to the reserve
9:30 – 4:30 PM Stay in the park (iMfolozi side, as sightings are usually better here)
4:30 – 6:00 PM Transfer to the boat
